100% Silk Faille fabric in Silk White (not dead White). A stunning vintage quality made in Italy that is not produced anymore, one of the finer fabrics we carry on the site and in store.
Matte, crisp with a dense, slightly ribbed hand, 40 mm, 52″ wide.
The ribbed texture in silk faille is a weaving process that uses variations of thicker and thinner yarn. This allows for a textured hand that is matte.
*We highly recommend that any garment made from this fabric should be lined in our Cotton/Polyester batiste blend.
