Cotton Blend Tweed Fabric, Textured and Abstract Quartz Pattern
Cotton Tweed Fabric, a soft, supple varying view of Navy, French, Dark and Dusty Blues that create a lovely degree of texture and complexity – the lighter yarns lifted like a quartz stone. Small shots of lurex and fringe add to the depth.
Somewhat abstract, definitely unique.
Suiting/coating weight (338 gsm) – Made in France, 51% Polyester/19% Cotton/17% Polyamide/10% Canvas/3% Wool. 50″ wide.
For patterns we will start with the McCalls M8370 – easy and elegant skirt and jacket combo. Also look at the Boxy One-Button Jackets from Vogue (V9133) – or the BUR6029 from Burda, an unusually cut jacket that could be a little challenge to sew for beginners. That said, anyone who has taken a couture sewing class can do anything!
The Cortland Trench from Grain Line Studios – EPIC
This could actually also make a nice sweater – BUR6366 from Burda (option A), a kinda weird looking fit on the pattern to be honest. Maybe a hack on the sleeves and you will love it.
