The Modern Sewing Co. basically has a set of patterns that would make a perfect use of this fabric. Their Unisex Shirt pattern would be a lovely fit – matching may be for somewhat advanced sewers but wow it would be exciting to see. Also look at their WORKER TROUSERS, which would be somewhat of a looser fit (but that cuff!).
The Explosive Vogue (V1717), has a skirt, pants, top and jacket variation that could run the gamut of your wardrobe. Any bottom wear you probably would want to line with our cotton/poly batiste lining.
Another pair of pants would be the GENÊT PANTS from Deer and Doe Patterns as well as the
Butterick B6328 (Option A) – would be an easy pattern to use for this design – as the back is one complete piece. The pattern is untied, which would also be fairly great with the hand of this fabric.
Finally, the Vogue, V8997 – a flared skirt with the princess Seam. Another Princess Seam form Vogue, V9239.
