Hemp/Recycled Fiber Chambray Fabric, Stretch, Forrest Green

$26.00

Hemp Chambray fabric, made with recycled fibers (53% Hemp/44% Recycled Polyester/3% Spandex) in Forrest Green

Top/Dress weight (170 gsm, 5 oz) a nice drape, 56″ wide – a “poplin”-like hand.

Hemp is one of the world’s oldest fibers and requires no pesticides or herbicides to be grown. It can also be used a cover crop to prevent water/soil run off pollution.

It softens as it washes and will keep its shape.

For patterns, really any shirt or dress will be most suitable. We love Modern Sewing Co. and their unisex shirt. The Felix Dress from Grain Line Studios would be awesome. The Patti Pocket Skirt (perhaps lined with out Cotton/Poly Batiste) from Amy Nicole Studio would be awesome.

Also, the Audie Play Suit, which is a great light weight jumpsuit would be incredible.

We would also love a wrap dress – there are so many, but one that would work well is the Calvin Warp Dress from True Bias Patterns.
