Jacquard Fabric, Floral Pattern with Silver Metallic Accents
Jacquard fabric with a dashing floral pattern in metallic Silver, Magenta, Port Purple and Royal Blue all on a Black base. The formation of florals is extraordinary and strong.
We call it a suiting weight, its really right between a coating and suiting – stiffer hand. It resembles a double weight taffeta (if there is ever such a thing).
Dead stock from an NYC Designer, 58″ wide.
Pattern suggestions are bold. We would love to see a jacket – the slightly flared Burda BUR6462 would be bold enough we think (fur collar is optional), the jacket is semi flared.
Burda BUR6041 – a jacket with a strained collar, classic and also ripe for a bold fabric.
For a skirt, Simplicity S9711 – please skirt with a flare. It would hold its shape.
Vogue, this Badly Mishka designed (V1861) would be a feat to sew – but amazing to see; as well as the V1782 flared loveliness.

Best to dry clean, especially after the garment is completed. You could hand wash, but it may lose some of its luster, and crispness.
