Silk and Wool Suiting Fabric, the most sophisticated Blue/Gray in one of the more elegant suiting weight fabrics we know.
The classic blend that tailors with ease, perfect for a suit, but also as a dress, gown, pants, jacket, top or coat – medium, dense hand, suiting weight with a twill finish.
50″ wide, made in Italy, dead stock from a mill in Italy.
*We highly recommend that any garment made from this fabric should be lined in our Cotton/Polyester batiste blend.
Pattern suggestions:
Butterick Suit, B6933 – semi fitted with a lined collar. Perfect. Also perfect is Butterick, B6901 with a vest top.
Viki Sews also has the Liliana vest – a similar to the vest above, but slightly more tailored.
A-line or pencil skirt would suffice, but would like to see some pleats. Look to Marfy skirt 3349 and combine with jacket 3348 – woah. Also, Simplicity S9712 is a good staple.
