Jacquard fabric with a subtle lifted snake skin pattern in a lovely coppery Orange on Black.
Not heavy weight but it has some stiffness that resembles a taffeta or a lighter handed Peau. Made of synthetics, Polyester/Acetate.
Dead stock from a designer we buy from a lot in NYC, 56″ wide.
More formal wear – pants would be epic as well as any dress, gown or skirt. A suit would work. A few pattern recommendations from us would be:
The old trusty V1884 from Vogue, we love the flair- line it with our Cotton/Polyester Batiste. Also in line with the more formal Vogue v1800.
Gathered dress from Gertie PDB6284 or any variation
the Vogue large skirt with gathers would be beautiful – V1813 as well as the Vogue v 1782.
