Stretch Brocade Fabric with Small Metallic Dotted Pattern

Stretch Brocade fabric, White with a metallic small-dotted Copper Pattern.

A versatile medium/heavy suiting weight fabric, the 2-way stretch that goes with the length – it lends itself to any garment (except a blouse).

The hand is supple and luxurious, 56″ wide. Acetate/Polyamide/Rayon/Lurex/Polyester blend. Made in Italy.

These stretch brocades are wonderful because they are formal, but the stretch and weight allows one to sew a garment that is easier and more comfortable without sacrificing the style. They work both ways, they jazz up a casual outfit as well as provide more versatility to formal wear.

Some pattern suggestions:

Vogue V 1943, an Off-the-shoulder double-breasted lined jacket – pretty jazzy if you ask us.

We love the Burda B5984, either the jacket or trench coat – very cool lapels.

The Muna and Broad Shoalhaven Shacket is one we love right now – it could work for this if you are experienced with pattern matching.

Vogue Fit-And-Flare Dresses with Waistband and Pockets (V1737) is a good look for this one.

Know Me Tuxedo style dress with the double breasted buttons is great – PDME2006

Flared skirts would be a nice touch – try Vogue V1813 and we would love to see a bomber jacket or two out of this fabric – like Vogue V1877. Also the Simplicity S9712 pleated skirt.

Price is per Yard.
