Stretch Satin Woven Fabric, Magenta

Stretch Satin woven in a luxuriously lustrous magenta. 2 Way stretch about 50% that goes with the width – this fabric has a butter like hand with a pound cake density. The pull back of the stretch is tight. The quality is impressive.

Dead stock from an NYC cutting room – made of a synthetic blend we cant quite pin point, 58″ wide.

Pattern Suggestions:

We would love an iteration or version of the Simplicity S9712 – pleated larger skirt. It could also be tighter fitting to take advantage of the great stretch.

Named Patterns has the AINA TROUSERS & CULOTTES – it calls for a fabric with 10-15% stretch (this is about 50%) – that said, we would love to see something in the vein of these pants. We love their patterns!

McCalls has a lovely bomber jacket, PDM7636 – would be a dynamic fit, by designer Beaute’ J’Adore

Also something special would be use of this fabric with Simplicity S9688 a jacket, with a tie belt. We for some reason thing the tie belt would pair so well with the lustrous finish of this fabric.
