Striped Burnout Fabric with Metallic, Textured Striped Pattern

Striped Burnout fabric, a subtle complexity and sophistication. Black background with a geometric burnout striped ornamentation – a myriad of wonderful textures, layers and shapes.

Polyester/Rayon/Acetate/Lurex blend

Light/medium weight, drape – it behaves sort of like a thicker chiffon, but can be used as a dress weight, top weight, as a gown, skirt or light weight jacket.

The repeat is 20 inches, 54″ wide.

Pattern Suggestions: Tough but fun to get a few of these – we go mostly for formal wear here.

Vogue, V1246 is a geometrically shaped shirt that would lend well with not only the weight, but sheer bits of this fabric.

Vogue V1879 is a formal dress, cocktail length – it works with both the weight and the shape. Advanced pattern, but you could line up the sheer with say the bodice to make it a quite memorable garment.

Vogue V1746 is a kimono that we usually suggest for chiffon or organza – it fits here and some hacks could make it a little more full.

Lucy Dress from By Hand London is exceptionally versatile for so many fabrics.

Price is per Yard.
