Viscose/Cupro Sustainable Plaid Woven Fabric

$42.00

Viscose/Cupro woven fabric – a soft, silk-like hand with a lovely warm plaid in lighter Navy Blue, Beige, Pink and Ketchup Red.

Twill weave, it is a tad too heavy to be called a textbook shirt weight, so we call it a dress weight – it would however make a perfect shirt/blouse, lined dress/skirt, any sort of top, light weight lined jacket.

We guarantee its one of the most amazing things you will ever touch in your life!

A sustainable fabric, viscose is a thread that is generated from wood pulp (its non-toxic). Its more durable than most cottons and silks.

Cupro, a cellulose fiber made out of recycled fibers is also sustainable and longer lasting.

66% Viscose/34% Cupro

Made in France, 55″ wide, 194 gsm.

Simple pattern suggestions: the Cara Top from modern Sewing Co – this has no sleeves, but add a sleeve if you feel like it. Also look at the Camellia Blouse from Deer and Doe Patterns D0048BPDF.

The Palmer Woven Dress from Style Arc Patterns, we would love to see – a shirtmake dress with pockets. Vogue V8759 – is a “men’s button down shirt” and there is no reason why it cannot be non-binary/unisex.

For a comfortable yet striking look, try the McCalls PDM7625 – shaped front and back bodice with princess seams.
