100% Cotton Corduroy, a hearty weight and dense weave. Soft to the touch. We love the Blue color it is quite unique. The ribbed hand gives you that stick to your rib feeling. Heavy, it will drape but fluidity is not the best way to describe this fabric. Think of it as a denim or more versatile coating.

Pattern Suggestions:

Burda 6253 has a really good, simple and stylish front fastening skirt that would be perfect for this dense fabric.

McCalls 7831 is an easy going sort of half skirt overall, half jumper that would be quite cool with this fabric.

Can’t suggest any corduroy patterns without mentioning the Closet Core Jenny Overalls – heavy duty fabric for the look.

Likewise, the Modern Sewing Co. and their Darcy Coat, would be freaking tremendous.

We ship United States Postal Service or UPS, promptly. Customs and import duties are not always included in the overall shipping prices. Orders of $350 are free.

Dead Stock Fabric: Unique, out-of-circulation fabrics bought directly from fashion designers and textile mills. Dead Stock fabric is sustainable because it is excess supply that is in existence (not manufactured). In the fashion industry, deadstock refers to fabrics that are either surplus or left over from production. We source our dead stock fabrics from high end fashion designers and textile mills from all over the world. In sourcing deadstock fabric, we are diverting waste away from landfills.

Any of our fabrics and ribbons can be viewed at our fabric store in New Orleans. Not all products are stored on site, so we recommend getting in touch at least 24 hours before your visit to allow us time to transfer the stock from our warehouse.
