You can narrow it down to formal wear of course – and we suggest having the mentality that one should treat organza jacquard like a dress, bottom or taffeta weight fabric (even though it is sheer). First of all, it can be lined and that will provide body. Secondly, its has the stiffness to hold flairs and pleats.
Thus, we suggest a few patterns that are outside the box.
A formal jacket would be the Burda Style Pattern 6041 Misses – Option B line. Simple enough to let the fabric do the talking/make the statement. In the same vein is the Vogue V1865.
