Coating weight cotton blend Tweed fabric, a dynamic geometric pattern with a lot of different shapes; in Caramel, White, Cream, Purple, Lime Green and Black, with slightly lustrous lurex accents. All of this making up a larger varying plaid.
Jacket/coating weight, but suitable for a dress, skirt or top, suit.
Made in France, 58″ wide.
For patterns we will start with the McCalls M8370 – easy and elegant skirt and jacket combo. Also look at the Boxy One-Button Jackets from Vogue (V9133) – or the BUR6029 from Burda, an unusually cut jacket that could be a little challenge to sew for beginners. That said, anyone who has taken a couture sewing class can do anything!
