Double Weight Knit Fabric, a Rib in Blue Rush.

The composition of this fabric is extraordinary. Double weight (520 gsm), epic substantial hand with a masterful pull back. The ribbing adds depth and texture…. Think double ponte weight.

62% Organic Cotton/20% Recycled Polyester/16% Recycled Cotton/2% Percent Elastane, made in France, 50″ wide.

Perfect to use as a knit for so many things. Patterns we narrowed down to suggest:

ZÉPHYR DRESS, TOP AND SKIRT from Deer and Doe Patterns (D0022PDF) is a great match.

The ERNIE KNIT PANT from Style Arc is also a winner, stylish and comfortable – also, their Carly Jumpsuit and Mason Knit Jacket.

A variation of the Mimi G Simplicity S8177 would be also lovely application of this fabric and Simplicity S9184, the trouser and the vest – equally lovely.

We ship United States Postal Service or UPS, promptly. Customs and import duties are not always included in the overall shipping prices. Orders of $350 are free.

Dead Stock Fabric: Unique, out-of-circulation fabrics bought directly from fashion designers and textile mills. Dead Stock fabric is sustainable because it is excess supply that is in existence (not manufactured). In the fashion industry, deadstock refers to fabrics that are either surplus or left over from production. We source our dead stock fabrics from high end fashion designers and textile mills from all over the world. In sourcing deadstock fabric, we are diverting waste away from landfills.

Any of our fabrics and ribbons can be viewed at our fabric store in New Orleans. Not all products are stored on site, so we recommend getting in touch at least 24 hours before your visit to allow us time to transfer the stock from our warehouse.
