Polyester Mikado fabric in Emerald Green, a twill weave with a lovely stretch on the bias. Elegant lustrous finish.
Substantial like a taffeta or faille, but it drapes a bit more. Perfect for formal wear but you could go casual as well – mikado is really an exciting fabric because it has so many uses – the stretch adds to the possibilities.
Suiting weight, but the stretch allows for some great sewing – take advantage of it for the tailored fitted look. Especially with pants.
the Vogue V-1884 would work magic. Another great use would be the Vogue V-1927 double breasted jacket, also the Misses’ gathered Dress by Beaute’ J’adore (ME2016) – a Mimi G Pattern.
