A quite extravagant piece calls for some extra ordinary patterns we suppose. We are however not going to relegate this fabric to difficult and expert sewers. Some easy patterns could also go a long way.
With the fancy – look at Marfy’s fitted jacket, pattern no. 3793. – or – Straight overcoat with a cowl neck and flared elbow-length sleeves, no. 6025.
Also look into the UPTON DRESS from Cashmerette Patterns, this is graded for advanced beginners. A flared cocktail dress, lovely.
For a skirt, the go to Simplicity, S9712 with the pleat. Make the waste a contrast using the other side of this double faced fabric. Also the Vogue Petite Gathered Dress, V9075.
