Silk and Cotton suiting weight fabric, a delicate lustered finish. White with a seemingly 3-dimensional digital print of geometric prisms that fluctuate in size in a rowed striped pattern.
The prisms are Royal Blue, classic Red, Blush Pink and heather Brown, with some other futuristic characteristics.
Suiting weight, its a soft and pliable because of the cotton – less dense than silk/wool compositions which allows for wearing all year round (breathable and lighter).
Dead stock fabric from a designer in New York – 50% Silk/50% Cotton, 45″ wide.
We recommend if this is to be lined, do it with our cotton/polyester batiste lining.
Patterns for this fabric are tough! – We lend a few suggestions because of the striped orientation. The Modern Sewing Co. has a winter version of their FRENCH SMOCK. Tailored, possibly hacked – it would be amazing.
You could go easy with an A Line or Pencil Skirt, try McCalls PDM8149. Vogue V1813 flared skirt as well.
For a very cool dress, a variation of Vogue V9197 – a dress with sleeve options.
Let us also mention V1877 – a unisex bomber – how cool would that be?
