100% Silk Gazar Organza fabric in Guava with a luxurious satin finish, amazing weight and stiff hand (around 8 mm) and lovely satin finish, 54″ wide.

Gazar is a heavier weight, plain weave organza that is semi-sheer and stiff (with a twill weave) – some call it the 4-ply of organza.

The Pattern of patterns for silk gazar/organza is the Marfy 3171 – a lovely structured skirt. There are capes, gowns and more to sew with gazar – we honestly can’t find a pattern but will provide a link to Leisa Stanton of A Challenging Sew, who has done a masterful job describing this lovely fabric.

We ship United States Postal Service or UPS, promptly. Customs and import duties are not always included in the overall shipping prices. Orders of $350 are free.

We source our dead stock fabrics from high end fashion designers and textile mills from all over the world. In sourcing deadstock fabric, we are diverting waste away from landfills.

Any of our fabrics and ribbons can be viewed at our fabric store in New Orleans. Not all products are stored on site, so we recommend getting in touch at least 24 hours before your visit to allow us time to transfer the stock from our warehouse.
