Stretch Bottom Weight woven jacquard – the pattern is easy on the eyes, but quite complex with varying matte and metallic Silvers and matte Black.
The piece has a generous 2-way stretch that goes along the width of the fabric. This makes the fabric incredibly pliable but its still a stable woven. Quality is notable, a drape and its a bottom/light jacket weight.
Made in France, dead stock from a lovely small mill we buy from occasionally – a super blend that has synthetic, lurex and cotton as well. Better served as a tighter fit than loose – that said, jackets and coats would be lovely.
Sewing Pattern Suggestions:
The stretch pairs well with the tight fitting Safran Pants from Deer and Doe patterns.
Style Arc Patterns has the Sigrid Designer Jacket which is a brilliantly popular style these days. Also see their Parker Coat.
Enough stretch here to have joggers, see the Luna Joggers from Bella Loves Patterns.
For a Dress, Vogue V1905 – close fitting and hugging, lovely with the stretch.
Price is per Yard.
