Stretch Brocade fabric, a classic Honey/Curry lifted pattern on a satiny Cream base
86% Polyester/12% Polyamide/2% Elastic – hefty, suiting weight but adaptable because of the stretch
Made in France, 45″ wide.
Heavier side of a suiting weight, bias stretch. These stretch brocades are so wonderful because they allow for more variation in garment choice. You don’t just have to make a gown or coat anymore with brocades – you can stretch the range of casual looks (no pun intended) – but they can all look remarkable because the fabric is of such high quality.
Again we say simple pattern could go a long way here – You are however welcome to get jazzy as well.
Some pattern suggestions:
V1983 from Vogue, an elegant fit and flare would be a lovely use of this exquisite fabric. This is pretty much full on gown.
While on the subject, the V1949 is quite a show. Perfect for the weight of a brocade.
Vogue v1537 would be wonderfully over the top. We especially are fond of the jacket situation.
Lots of jackets, but what about this lined car coat from Julian Creates – ME2059
