Quite special fabric, lustrous White twill with a pronounced rib – this is complimented by a feather-like burnout pattern.
Structured hand but light weight, with a lot of drape. Like a crepe weight but a tad more to it. Blouse would work, but there is a bit more range as a sun dress or pleated skirt. Simple and refined but it has a look to it that stands alone.
Dead stock from an NYC designer – quite unique.
Pattern Suggestions:
Although we say it is a tad more structured, the drape allows for a very cool blouse – we always love to point out the Cynthia Blouse from Viki Sews.
Also love Butterick 6995 for this fabric, from Marcy Tilton – a large button down shirt.
The Crosby Bias Dress would be magical as well – from the Pattern Line
