Cotton Suiting fabric, a deep Midnight Navy Blue, with a varying floral pattern in White, a Sweet Potato Orange colored moon – the pattern is a traditional Native American Freedom Bird.
We will not delve too deep into the meanings of the birds, but they are fascintating.
Suiting weight, it’s a supple, breathable fabric with drape. Perfect for all seasons, and most garments.
Dead stock fabric from a designer in New York. There are some minor imperfections in the fabric, so we are selling it quite discounted. We are happy to elaborate more, you know how to reach us. Basically there are some off printed spots that are just a tad off-color in the background. It is hardly noticeable, but we are discounting the fabric.
100% Cotton, 45″ wide.
We recommend if this is to be lined, do it with our cotton/polyester batiste lining.
We are going to keep the pattern suggestions basic, but there is a lot that can be done here, creatively speaking.
Jasika Blazer from Closet Core Patterns is a go to for a jacket these days.
The Potters Jacket from the Modern Sewing Co. would be really cool – full length sleeves and straight body shape, and they recommend sewing a size up with will because it may be bulky.
The Cortland Trench from Grain Line Studios is another jacket option – Raglan sleeves with a trench coat take. Line this in Bemberg if you can.
Any Pant would work, but we like the Vogue V1960 wide legged pant (and go for the A, B and C option if you love it).
Price is per Panel, the panel measures 1 1/4 yards.
