Jacquard fabric with a new age floral pattern in Lime Green and off White – medium, suiting weight with a textured, firm hand.
The 2-way stretch is remarkable and lends itself to many uses, the color pops.
25% Cotton/48% Polyester/27% Polyamide – Made in France, 54″ wide, 240 gsm.
We love these stretch jacquards because they are so versatile. Suiting weight that can transpire into a dress, skirt, gown or a few top variations.
As a fabric store who tries to listen to its customers – the impression we get from some beginner sewers is that the jacquard can be “intimidating” at times to work with. These stretch jacquards are the exact opposite. A little fabric made into a simple design can go a long way. The amount of stretch is forgiving. The lifted design is palatial. A winning combo.
Case and point – a pencil skirt like McCalls (PDM8222) would be an easy sew – throw on a blouse and you have a formal-enough look.
Other Patterns Suggestions: How about some skinny jeans, SAFRAN PANTS form Deer and Doe Patterns.
The fabric has the weight to hold a pleat or flare. for example Vogue V1737, a fit and flare dress would be so magical. One could hack it to be even tighter of a fit if desired. Also the N6094 from New Look has a flared skirt, with a few other options.
Butterick V1936, a blazer dress as well as Nikki Brooks’ ME2034 would brighten up any occasion.
