100% Polyester gauze fabric, 2 pieces of fabric fused together to make a light, feathery composition.
Its like a voile; or the hand of an organza with drape, sheer and quite amazing if we say so our selves.
Lovely floral pattern; Purple, Green, Magenta and Blue, 54″ wide.
We love this stuff for formal wear mostly – a few patterns:
Butterick B6639 – A and B are both great formal/cocktail dress options.
Butterick B 6900 – V-neck caftan that lends its self to a loose, yet stylish fit.
RUFFLE HEM WRAP SKIRT – A half circle wrap skirt, the sheer versions – from By Hand London.
A formal jacket would be the Burda Style Pattern 6041 Misses – Option B line. Simple enough to let the fabric do the talking/make the statement. In the same vein is the Vogue V1865.
The Lucy Dress from By Hand London has such a versatility to it in terms of what fabrics can be used. We love the look.
Kathryn Brenne has a lovely pattern Vogue 1746, a kimono jacket, loose fitting with a really cool pleated pair of pants. Some hacking may be involved because of the lifted pattern.
Vogue V9075 – gathered formal”ish” dress – Option A
Price is per Yard.
