100% Recycled Polyester Twill fabric, a striking myriad of stripes in Gray and White on a Black base – somewhat like Tiger Stripes, but a tad more abstract.
This Twill fabric is a crepe weight, also known as surra. Use it as you would any light weight woven, such as a crepe de chine or charmeuse weight. It wont wrinkle, it feels as if its silk.
Made in Italy, 54″ wide. Dead Stock fabric from a designer in NYC.
As told to us, the tightening of silk thread distribution across the world has allowed for Italy to hire engineers to master the polyester thread. This fabric feels, looks, falls and sews like silk.

Sewing Pattern Suggestions:
The Rosie Cami Dress from Tint of Mint Patterns would be a lovely use of this fabric. Also love any sort of rendition involving a skirt, like the Erica Wrap Skirt from Swim Style Patterns.
Blouse we always hit with the Viki Sews Cynthia Blouse – and this company has many other renditions that are suitable for this fabric.
Another pattern that stands out to us is the Deidre Dress by Hubba Ding Patterns.
