Silk Duchesse Satin fabric, in White – a luscious weave made of a blend of 40% Silk and 60% Acetate.

Many of the silk duchesse blends today have acetate for a lot of reasons, mainly though it helps with the wrinkle of the silk. It has been relayed to us by the Mardi Gras designers that the Acetate blend is preferred.

Its actually one of the finest satin pieces we have come across – sourced from an NYC firm that sadly closed.

Stiff, heavy bodied (40 mm) and decadent, soft handed luster, 58″ wide.

Fit for a queen of carnival, a bride or the most formal of occasions.

We highly recommend that any garment made from this fabric should be lined in our Cotton/Polyester batiste blend.

All sales are final unless the item is deemed defective. If items are defective, they must be sent back within 14 days of shipping date. We do not accept returns on cuts goods unless there are quality issues.

International orders

We ship United States Postal Service or UPS, promptly. Customs and import duties are not always included in the overall shipping prices. Orders of $350 are free.

Dead Stock fabric is sustainable because it is excess supply that is in existence (not manufactured). We source our dead stock fabrics from high end fashion designers and textile mills from all over the world. In sourcing deadstock fabric, we are diverting waste away from landfills.

Any of our fabrics and ribbons can be viewed at our fabric store in New Orleans. Not all products are stored on site, so we recommend getting in touch at least 24 hours before your visit to allow us time to transfer the stock from our warehouse.
